Edinburgh Cocktail Week will return from the 7th-16th October!
The booziest week in Edinburgh is fast approaching so it’s time to raise a glass to £5 cocktails! Because who doesn’t love a £5 cocktail!?
At Smugglers Spirits we are very excited to be taking part in this year’s Edinburgh Cocktail Week, and you’ll be able to sample our handcrafted, locally produced spirits in cocktails all around the city, from sports pub and live music venue Malones to secret rooftop bar Cask Smugglers (think Edinburgh’s Secret Domes!). Smugglers Spirits will also have our very own pop-up bar in the Cocktail Village, so make sure to bag a wristband and pay us a visit!
Cocktail Week Extended
Edinburgh cocktail week takes place every year in October and gives Edinburgh cocktail lovers the chance to sample signature cocktails from a collective of bars and premium spirits brands. Due to its previous popularity (last year was a sell out!) the festival has been extended to 10 days long, covering not 1 but 2 weekends!
Don’t Forget Your Wristbands!
Wristbands are available for Weekend 1 (7th-9th October), Weekend 2 (14th-16th October) or the weekdays in between (10th-13th October). VIP wristbands are also available for serious cocktail lovers, giving access to the entire 10 days of the festival!
Smugglers Spirits Pop-up Bar
An Edinburgh Cocktail Week wristband entitles you to sip £5 signature cocktails at 120 of Edinburgh’s most delectable cocktail bars, including Cask Smugglers and Malones, who’ll be serving signature cocktails made with Smugglers Spirits. With a wristband you’ll also enjoy free access to the heavenly Cocktail Village, where you can find the Smugglers Spirits pop-up bar, and cocktails by many other delicious premium spirit brands.
As well as Edinburgh spirits brand Smugglers Spirits, pop-up bars this year include: Grey Goose, Jack Daniel’s, Dead Man’s Fingers, Tequila Rose, Boë Gin & Vodka, Tia Maria, Absolut Vodka, Mutugga Rum, Kopparberg, Pampelle, Jägermeister, Havana Club Rum, Brewdog, Bombay Sapphire, Patron, Mixtons, The Busker, London Essence and The Herringbone Horsebox.

Local Spirits, Local Cocktails
The Edinburgh Cocktail Week is a fantastic way to support local independent bars and spirits brands, as well as the big names.
Look out for our floral pop-up and big neon sign, we’ll be serving up our locally made spirits including our award-winning London Dry Gin Smugglers Gin, our fruity flavoured gins and our unique and intriguing Navy Strength – Old Sins Gin – in a variety of creative serves. Ever tried a Strawberry Gin cocktail that tastes just like a Giant Strawb? Or maybe a crisp Scottish Vodka served with Irn Bru Sorbet? Maybe we can tempt you with a Sinners Sangria…
We’ll also be offering a range of stripped-back classic G&Ts to showcase our wonderfully vibrant gins. The use of naturally-grown, hand harvested botanicals from a self-sustaining permaculture in the Pentland Hills give our gins a flavour unlike any other, so come and say hi if you’re a G&T lover!
The Perfect Edinburgh Day Out
Although it’s technically all about the cocktails, it’s not alllll about the cocktails - the Cocktail Village will also be home to live music, DJ’s, experiential spaces and tasty street food. If you weren’t thinking it already, Edinburgh Cocktail Week makes a fantastic day out with friends!
Headlining acts include Nathan Evans, Callum Beattie, Lily Ahlberg, Calum Bowie and Edinburgh band High Fade are back by popular demand!

The Edinburgh Cocktail Week supports local charity Maggie’s Edinburgh. Maggie’s provide free practical, social and emotional support for people with cancer and their family and friends. They focus on the things that really make a difference, like money worries, help with stress and depression, managing side-effects, and relationship and family support. Maggie’s support has been shown to improve physical and emotional wellbeing and to help people take control when cancer turns their life upside down.
