SS X FV: Sustainable Scottish Gin Sponsors Edinburgh Beer Garden

At Smugglers Spirits we’re helping to smuggle the summer festival atmosphere into Edinburgh by sponsoring a stunning and popular rooftop beer garden at the heart of the city centre - Festival Village: Waverley. This exciting collaboration means it’s easier than ever to get your hands on our delicious Scottish gin and Scottish vodka at one of Edinburgh’s best beer gardens.

A Vibrant Edinburgh Beer Garden

Located on the rooftop of Edinburgh Waverley Station, Festival Village is a hub of activity. A collection of quirky bars and a mouth-watering selection of street food are joined by stunning views of the city which draw crowds of tourists and locals alike for al fresco drinking and dining with a vibrant festival atmosphere. Smugglers Spirits are thrilled to be collaborating with the Edinburgh bar as part of their summer makeover, as well as plans to make the site more sustainable.

A Sustainable Day Out In The City

We’re proud to be working with Festival Village as they expand their list of local suppliers to provide customers with sustainable food and drink options, alongside switching to recycled PET plastic drinking cups and working with waste management partners to turn general waste into eco-bricks for use in construction.

New Flavoured Gins…

Sipping gin in Edinburgh has long been a way to enjoy the historic beauty of the city, and we’ve made it even easier by developing a tantalising new flavour range which is now available exclusively at Festival Village. Colourful and lively, our new Strawberry, Orange and Raspberry flavoured gins are completely natural and made with locally grown, hand-harvested botanicals. The new gins are served with premium mixers to highlight the expressive flavours within, letting your tastebuds in on the Edinburgh Festival vibe.

… And A Scottish Vodka

Also available at the beautiful rooftop beer garden is our hotly anticipated Scottish Vodka, a smooth and creamy vodka with all the characteristics of a crisp, lively Scottish spirit. Try it in a fresh vodka tonic, zesty vodka soda lime or complex cocktail exclusively at Festival Village: Waverley before it’s released to the market!

Best Scran in Edinburgh

Gin and food in Edinburgh go hand in hand, and Festival Village have the best scran around. Local street food vendors flood the rooftop space with mouth-watering aromas. Accompany your Smugglers Gin and tonic with scrumptious Neapolitan-inspired slices from the Pizza Geeks, melt in the mouth toasties from Say Cheese, juicy burgers from Butcher Boy or traditional Canadian street food from Brothers Poutinerie. Meanwhile, the onsite Secret Garden Restaurant serves sophisticated light bites inspired by fresh Scottish botanicals grown at the foot of the Pentland Hills.

Live Music From Smugglers Stage

If you’ve ever walked along Edinburgh’s Princes Street, you’ll have heard the live music that drifts from the Waverley Station rooftop. Festival Village are known for providing a platform for local artists to showcase their talent, and will continue to do so all summer long together with Smugglers Spirits. The two Smugglers Stages are stunningly decorated with flower walls and neon signs making performances at Festival Village: Waverley more Instagram-able than ever!
